Helsinki

Long dusk, short brief.

Design objects, timber rooms and a harbour that goes dark at four. We plan the day around that.

Stmercure works from Fredrikinkatu, a design studio with a cove and a grade desk. Clients make furniture, textiles and the public buildings that specify them.

Summer days run long and we use them. Winter jobs are indoor, with the window as key until it is gone, then a matched HMI.
